A 1994 Naval Academy graduate, Rep. Mikie Sherrill served nearly a decade in the Navy. She flew missions throughout Europe and the Middle East as a helicopter pilot. She holds several advanced degrees to include a law degree from Georgetown University. She was elected to Congress in 2018 and continues to serve in the House of Representatives (2023).
