Nació en Monterrey, Nuevo León, el 11 de julio de 1958; murió el 11 de julio de 2014. Narradora y ensayista. Estudió Letras Españolas en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Fue coordinadora de talleres literarios y maestra de Literatura en la UDEM y en la Escuela de Teatro de la FFyL de la UANL; vocal en el área de literatura del CECA-Nuevo León. Coordinó el Centro de Escritores de Nuevo León de 2003 a 2005. Maestra de apreciación de las artes en la Facultad de Medicina de la UANL. Columnista de la sección cultural del periódico El Norte; colaboró también en El Porvenir y en las revistas Deslinde y Vida Universitaria de la UANL.
She was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, on July 11, 1958; she died on July 11, 2014. A novelist and essayist, she studied Spanish Literature at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). She coordinated literary workshops and taught Literature at UDEM and at the Theater School of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (FFyL) of the UANL; she was also a member of the literature committee of CECA-Nuevo León. She coordinated the Nuevo León Writers’ Center from 2003 to 2005. She taught art appreciation at the Faculty of Medicine of the UANL. She was a columnist for the cultural section of the newspaper El Norte ; she also contributed to El Porvenir and the UANL magazines Deslinde and Vida Universitaria.
