Nidia Esther Rosado [Bacelis] fue una educadora y escritora mexicana. Fue pionera de la Educación Audiovisual en Yucatán, directora de la Escuela Normal de Profesores Rodolfo Menéndez de la Peña y Medalla Yucatán en 1987.
Fundó los talleres de escritura Clemente López Trujillo y Carlos Moreno Duarte, dirigió el taller de teatro Virgilio Mariel y la biblioteca circulante Alberto Cervera Espejo. Colaboró en el Diario del Sureste, Novedades de Yucatán y Por Esto! Dictó conferencias magistrales y fundó el Círculo de Estudios Históricos Alfredo Barrera Vázquez.
Entre los galardones que obtuvo, sobresalen: primer lugar en el Concurso de Cuento de la Secretaría de Educación del Gobierno del Estado de Yucatán (1974), Premio de Poesía Reina Mestiza de Yucatán (1982), Medalla Yucatán (1987), Maestra distinguida (1996) y Premio de Literatura Antonio Mediz Bolio (1998).
Nidia Esther Rosado [Bacelis] was a Mexican educator and writer. She was a pioneer of audiovisual education in Yucatán, director of the Rodolfo Menéndez de la Peña Normal School for Teachers, and received the Yucatán Medal in 1987.
She founded the Clemente López Trujillo and Carlos Moreno Duarte writing workshops, directed the Virgilio Mariel theater workshop and the Alberto Cervera Espejo circulating library. She contributed to the Diario del Sureste, Novedades de Yucatán, and Por Esto! she gave lectures and founded the Alfredo Barrera Vázquez Circle of Historical Studies.
Among the awards she received, the following stand out: first place in the Short Story Contest of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the State of Yucatán (1974), the Reina Mestiza de Yucatán Poetry Prize (1982), the Yucatán Medal (1987), Distinguished Teacher (1996) and the Antonio Mediz Bolio Literature Prize (1998).
