Olga Konstantinovna Bogdanova (1896-1982) was a Soviet chemical engineer, specialising in organic catalysis, synthetic rubber and butadines. In WW2 she developed a synthetic rubber coating for tanks and aircraft, which was self-healing when struck by bullets.
