Edna Aponte [Galván] fue una escritora, editora, profesora y tallerista mexicana. Licenciada en Lengua y Literatura Hispánicas por la Facultad de Estudios Superiores fes Acatlán (unam). Fue fundadora y directora de la Editorial Mandala. Docente en la Universidad del Medio Ambiente uma, Valle de Bravo. Impartió talleres de literatura y escritura creativa; integrante de varios talleres y cursos del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes inba, el Instituto Mora, la unam y el Instituto Mexicano de la Radio imer.
Fue becaria del Centro de Investigaciones Literarias de la fes Acatlán (unam), así como de la Fundación Japón. Colaboró en periódicos y revistas como El Financiero, Ovaciones, El Día, Macrópolis, Carrizos, Ritmo, Periódico de Poesía, La Vida Literaria, Libros de México y Papel de Poesía, entre otros. Trabajó en la producción de series literarias radiofónicas y programación cultural para el imer. Fue coordinadora de archivos de voz y fotográficos del Centro Nacional de Información y Promoción de la Literatura cnipl (inba) y trabajó en la creación y sistematización de archivos de voz y literarios.
Impartió clases en el área de literatura en la Universidad La Salle y la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México uaem.
Edna Aponte [Galván] was a Mexican writer, editor, professor, and workshop facilitator. She held a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from the Faculty of Higher Studies (FES) Acatlán (UNAM). She was the founder and director of Mandala Publishing House. She taught at the University of the Environment (UMA) in Valle de Bravo. She led literature and creative writing workshops and participated in various workshops and courses at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), the Mora Institute, UNAM, and the Mexican Institute of Radio (IMER).
She was a fellow at the Center for Literary Research at the FES Acatlán (UNAM), as well as a fellow of the Japan Foundation. She contributed to newspapers and magazines such as El Financiero, Ovaciones, El Día, Macrópolis, Carrizos, Ritmo, Periódico de Poesía, La Vida Literaria, Libros de México, and Papel de Poesía, among others. She worked on the production of literary radio series and cultural programming for IMER. She was the coordinator of voice and photographic archives at the National Center for Information and Promotion of Literature (CNIPL) (INBA) and worked on the creation and systematization of voice and literary archives.
She taught classes in the area of literature at La Salle University and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM).
