Nació en Saltillo, Coahuila, y murió en la Ciudad de México. Hizo estudios universitarios en Estados Unidos y Canadá. En México tomó cursos en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNAM. En 1932 adoptó el pseudónimo de Diana Compecson, con el que escribió novelas, cuentos y artículos periodísticos. Formó parte, como dramaturga, de la Comedia Mexicana. En 1939 creó el proyecto de teatro infantil en la Secretaría de Educación Pública. Fue jefa de la sección de teatro del departamento de Bellas Artes en 1942. Adaptó y tradujo obras para el teatro infantil. Participó también en la fundación de la Escuela de Arte Teatral.

Obra dramática: El tercer personaje (1935), La hora del festín (1936), Como yo te soñaba (1937), Un mundo para mí (1937), En silencio (1941), Marujita (194?), CRI-CRI, rey del bosque esmeralda (194?).

She was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, and died in Mexico City. She pursued university studies in the United States and Canada. In Mexico, she took courses at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In 1932, she adopted the pseudonym Diana Compecson, under which she wrote novels, short stories, and newspaper articles. As a playwright, she was a member of the Comedia Mexicana (Mexican Comedy Theater). In 1939, she created a children’s theater program at the Ministry of Public Education. She headed the theater section of the Department of Fine Arts in 1942. She adapted and translated plays for children’s theater. She also participated in the founding of the School of Theatrical Art.
