Sarah Jane Frances Johnston

American artist noted for her charcoal portraits. She designed a stained-glass window called “Recording Angel” for the Barnard Memorial Chapel, a free church for children, which was located on Warrenton Street in Boston but is no longer standing.

Fanny Charsley

Fanny Charsley was an English botanical artist and collector who spent a decade in Australia (1856 – 1866). Shortly after she returned to England she published a book of her work on Australian wild flowers titled “The Wild Flowers around Melbourne” (1867).
