Dramaturga mexicana. Es Licenciada en Economía y Maestra en Letras Modernas uia por la Universidad Iberoamericana. Estudió Creación Literaria en la Escuela de Escritores de la Sociedad General de Escritores de México sogem. Entre los talleres de teatro a los que ha asistido destacan el del Royal Court Theatre en el 2011, además de una residencia artística en Banff Centre of the Arts en Canadá.
Fue analista económico del periódico El Financiero, asistente editorial de la revista Paso de Gato y editora de la revista Selecciones.
Sus obras de teatro abordan temas sociales contemporáneos como la trata de mujeres, la violencia y la injusticia. Es cofundadora del grupo teatral Tepalcate Producciones y miembro de El Arce Colectivo Escénico.
En 2011, una de sus obras resultó ganadora del Certamen Conmemorativo del Bicentenario que otorgaron la sogem y el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes conaculta.
Mexican playwright. She holds a degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Modern Literature from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She studied Creative Writing at the Escuela de Escritores de la Sociedad General de Escritores de México (SOGEM) (School of Writers of the General Society of Writers of Mexico). Among the theatre workshops she has attended are the one at the Royal Court Theatre in 2011, as well as an artistic residency at the Banff Centre of the Arts in Canada.
She was an economic analyst for the newspaper El Financiero, editorial assistant for the magazine Paso de Gato and editor of the magazine Selecciones.
Her plays address contemporary social issues such as human trafficking, violence and injustice. She is co-founder of the theatre group Tepalcate Producciones and a member of El Arce Colectivo Escénico.
In 2011, one of her works won the Bicentennial Commemorative Competition awarded by SOGEM and the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA).
