Of today’s notable Russian chemical engineers, Eugenia Kumacheva, OC, FRS, FRSC, was born and educated in Russia but has undertaken most of her subsequent work in Canada, where she is a professor at the University of Toronto.
She is noted for her work on applied polymers science, nanotechnology, microfluidics, and interface chemistry, has received numerous awards, holds 40 patents and set up two companies: FlowJEM and KuBE Materials Solutions.
