The following was written by Nina Baker and is excerpted from the book From Alchemy to Transport Phenomena: A Global History of Women in Chemical Engineering.

The first Italian woman to graduate as a chemical engineer seems to have been Ines del Tetto Noto, from Turin Polytechnic in 1911. Other than that she was also part of the group which set up the Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects (AIDIA), no more is known about her.
