Jane Guerin was a plant collector who between 1860 and 1874 collected specimens around the family property ‘Pigeongrove’, Vasse, Western Australia, as well as Geographe Bay and the Geraldton and Murchison districts. She lived with her brother at Champion Bay after their parents died, later moving to Adelaide. Her specimens were sent to Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in Melbourne. The National Herbarium of Victoria holds over 200 of her collections, including some type specimens.
