Judith Rees graduated from LSE with a BSc 1965 and after teaching at Wye College in Kent returned to LSE as a lecturer, completing her PhD in 1978. Judith Rees moved to the University of Hull in 1989 becoming Dean of Geography and Pro-Vice Chancellor. After returning to LSE she was a Pro-Director 1998-2004. She is currently Co-Director of the Grantham Research Institute.
