Realizó estudios en el Colegio Normal, en la Escuela de Comercio y de Biblioteconomía en su tierra natal. Radicó en los Estados Unidos y, más tarde, en la Ciudad de México. Perteneció a los cafés literarios.
Lilián Serpas compuso sus primeros versos a la edad de trece años. Escribió poesía romántica, filosófica, cósmica y religiosa. Su lírica, influenciada por los filósofos clásicos como Platón, Aristóteles, Plotino y Pitágoras, aspira a la perfección, al conocimiento y a la búsqueda de la divinidad. En Huésped de la eternidad reflexiona sobre lo absoluto, la armonía del cosmos, la eternidad y la divinidad entendida como una totalidad.
She studied at the Normal School, the School of Commerce, and the School of Library Science in his hometown. She lived in the United States and later in Mexico City. She frequented literary cafés.
Lilián Serpas composed her first verses at the age of thirteen. She wrote romantic, philosophical, cosmic, and religious poetry. Her lyricism, influenced by classical philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, and Pythagoras, aspires to perfection, knowledge, and the search for divinity. In Guest of Eternity, she reflects on the absolute, the harmony of the cosmos, eternity, and divinity understood as a totality.
