An engineer who bridges the chemical and biological engineering fields, Omolola Eniola-Adefeso, was born in Nigeria but moved to the USA in her teens. She gained her degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the University of Maryland (1999) and is now a professor of Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Macromolecular Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, designing smart biomaterials for drug delivery.
