Nació en Monterrey, Nuevo León, el 9 de abril de 1967; muere en Boynton Beach, Florida, Estados Unidos, el 1º de septiembre de 2016. Narradora. Estudió Comunicación en la Universidad Iberoamericana, campus Noroeste. Fue funcionaria del Instituto de Cultura de Baja California. Colaboradora de Comala, Cultura Norte, Communicare, El Nacional, Esquina Baja, y Vida Bajacaliforniana. Becaria del fonca, en poesía, 1993; y del foeca-Baja California, 1994. Premio Nacional de Cuento Gilberto Owen 1992 por La señorita Superman y otras danzas. Premio Estatal de Radionovela caen-inba 1997 por ¿Dónde quedó el locutor?. Premio Estatal de Ensayo Baja California 1998 por Ensayos de juguete.
She was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, on April 9, 1967; she died in Boynton Beach, Florida, United States, on September 1, 2016. A writer of fiction, she studied Communication at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Northwest Campus. She was an official at the Baja California Institute of Culture. She contributed to Comala, Cultura Norte, Communicare, El Nacional, Esquina Baja, and Vida Bajacaliforniana. She received a grant from FONCA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts) in poetry in 1993 and from FOECA (Fund for the Promotion of Culture in Baja California) in 1994. She won the Gilberto Owen National Short Story Prize in 1992 for La señorita Superman y otras danzas (Miss Superman and Other Dances), the CAEN – INBA (National Institute of Fine Arts) State Radio Drama Prize in 1997 for ¿Dónde quedó el locutor? (Where Did the Announcer Go?), and the Baja California State Essay Prize in 1998 for Ensayos de juguete (Toy Essays).
