Vida Ognjenović is a Serbian theater director, writer, professor and diplomat.
In 1989, she was one of the founders of Serbia’s first opposition party, the Democratic Party. From 2001 to 2006, she served as Ambassador to Norway representing Serbia and Montenegro, then served as Serbia’s ambassador to Denmark from 2007 until 2013. In 2012, she received the World Award of Humanism from the Ohrid Academy of Humanism.
