Nació en la Ciudad de México, en 1962; muere el 15 de febrero de 2007. Dramaturga y actriz. Realizó estudios de Historia y de Técnico en Actuación, ambas en la Universidad de Guadalajara, donde laboró en el Departamento de Letras. Estudió Teatro Técnico en Albion College, en Estados Unidos, y fue observadora de las actividades del Lyric Theatre, en Londres. Se especializó en teatro infantil con obras como Cristóbal Colón, El pepenador mágico, La historia del rey Furibundo, Los Premios Nobel, El pincel mágico, Los perritos danzarines del volcán, Alerta: el bufón renunció, entre otras. En 1992 obtuvo mención honorífica en el Concurso Internacional de Obra Dramática Tramoya. Fue primer lugar en el concurso de Publicación de Obra Literaria 1993, de la Universidad de Guadalajara, por Tres obras de teatro infantil. Premio Nacional de Obra de Teatro para Niños 1999 por Los perritos danzarines del volcán.
She was born in Mexico City in 1962 and died on February 15, 2007. A playwright and actress, she studied History and Acting at the University of Guadalajara, where she also worked in the Department of Letters. She studied Theater Technique at Albion College in the United States and observed the activities of the Lyric Theatre in London. She specialized in children’s theater, writing plays such as Christopher Columbus, The Magic Scavenger, The Story of King Furious, The Nobel Prize Winners, The Magic Paintbrush, The Dancing Puppies of the Volcano, and Alert: The Jester Quit, among others. In 1992, she received an honorable mention in the Tramoya International Dramatic Competition. She won first place in the 1993 University of Guadalajara Literary Works Publication Competition for Three Children’s Plays. National Prize for Children’s Theatre Work 1999 for The Dancing Puppies of the Volcano.
