Infinite Women was founded in 2020 to celebrate women from different spheres of influence, around the world and across the centuries. The site now includes a variety of elements: thousands of biographies of women, a “today in history” feature, recommendations for book, movies and more, the weekly podcast, and more to come!

Allison Tyra is the founder and manager of Infinite Women, and host of the weekly podcast. Any biographies on the site not attributed to other sources were written by Allison. Infinite Women is a reflection of both her background in journalism and her career in non-profit marketing.
Allison is also the author of To Her Credit (Rising Action, 2025), which explores the ways women go unacknowledged for their work and achievements, both historically and today.
