Nació en Atotonilco el Chico, Hidalgo, en 1870 y murió en la Ciudad de México en 1943. Maestra, poetisa y autora teatral. Como médico cirujano fue profesora de la Escuela Nacional de Medicina y en la de Enfermeras. Fue también políglota. Fundó la revista La Mujer Mexicana y colaboró en El Mundo Ilustrado.
She was born in Atotonilco el Chico, Hidalgo, in 1870 and died in Mexico City in 1943. A teacher, poet, and playwright, she was also a professor at the National School of Medicine and the National School of Nursing. A polyglot, she founded the magazine La Mujer Mexicana and contributed to El Mundo Ilustrado.
