Evelyn Paget Evans became secretary of both the Australasian Trained Nurses Association and the Australian Massage Association (1917), which later became the Australian Physiotherapy Association. This began a lifetime of work in health administration. She remained secretary of the Australian Physiotherapy Association until 1956.
